MANAGING DIRECTOR
Jared has extensive skills in development, construction and finance, working with top tier international property development, construction and private equity real estate investment companies.
Jared is an integral part of the early stages of the development process, beginning with site identification and acquisition, design, development approval, as well and managing and coordinating the construction, finance, marketing and property settlements.
Jared’s experience started with onsite-construction work over ten years ago and he has developed over 70 projects ranging from single family houses to multi-level apartments.
CONSTRUCTION MANAGER
Stefan has been extremely involved in commercial, industrial, high rise, civil and residential projects.
Stefan has a strong track record of delivering high-quality residential, health, education, retail and transport developments across the Sydney Metropolitan Area and throughout Wollongong and the Southern Highlands. He is committed to building cost effective and sustainable buildings, safely and on time.
Stefan ensures that Blaq Projects is at the forefront of the construction industry tapping into his wealth of knowledge and his contacts. He coordinates the workforce that drives the company forward.
CHIEF FINANCIAL OFFICER
Shamen is an experienced senior executive with a diverse career focused on working in dynamic, demanding, and complex organisations.
Shamen has over 30 years experience working in technology, finance and accounting, particularly in senior finance roles in listed public company environments.
Shamen brings significant experience in financial management of technology and professional services organisations, with a focus on performance improvement, treasury management, mergers and acquisitions and corporate governance.
DIRECTOR OF SALES & MARKETING
A consummate professional with a genuine interest in people, Daniel Gutierrez made the natural transition in 2018 from highly successful real estate agent to director of sales and marketing.
As a long-standing local resident, Daniel’s roots in the Wollongong community run deep. And with more than 20 years’ experience in the industry, his stellar sales record, reputation for scrupulous honesty, and strong repeat and referral business speak for themselves. A property development expert specialising in residential and project marketing campaigns.
Daniel’s solution oriented approach is driven by a blue-ribbon service commitment to every client relationship – unflagging passion, a rare capacity for empathy, and an exacting attention to detail ensure the absolute fluency of sales, purchase or development process, from start to finish.
GENERAL MANAGER
Ryan has extensive experience in the construction industry. Having begun his career on building sites from a young age, he is well versed in all aspects of site operations required to deliver successful construction projects.
Ryan is responsible for managing the site teams at BLAQ and for planning and directing site staff as well as managing ISO compliance to ensure the company is continually operating in accordance with our certified Integrated Management System (IMS).
His role entails daily enforcement of Quality, Safety and Environmental policies and procedures across all BLAQ projects and business operations, thus ensuring that BLAQ objectives are successfully met.
BLAQ has grown organically, starting off as a small, boutique developer more than years ago, we have acquired expertise in a wide range of construction, from standalone homes to medium density developments through to larger, multistorey mixed-use buildings.
Over the years we have built strong relationships with our consultants, subcontractors, agents and employees. We have a strong presence in the market and offer reliability and sustainability to everyone within our network.
